Boxford Farms and our sister company, Stoke by Nayland Resort, have received a number of environmental awards over the years. These have been in recognition of our innovative techniques developed to create a sustainable circular economy within our businesses, and our long term commitment to reduce our carbon footprint, benefit local communities and protect the environment.

- Winner of the Suffolk County Council Creating the Greenest County “Sustainable Tourism Award 2016”
- Winner of the BALE award for Best Green Enterprise 2015
- Awarded Membership of the Green 100 East Anglian Businesses 2015
- LEAF Marque Accredited, Higher Level Stewardship and Entry Level Stewardship Schemes
- Stoke by Nayland Hotel sits within the Dedham Vale AONB and we work closely with the AONB to ensure that we are responsible custodians of the countryside that we as a family all live and work in.
- Regular ecological assessments are carried out via English Nature, STRI and the EGU.
- We work closely with the Environment Agency, Suffolk Wildlife Trust, Writtle and Otley Colleges, the PGA and European Seniors Tour to ensure best practice is maintained.
- The wood used in the Biomass Boiler from a local ancient woodland which is being returned to coppicing by the Essex Woodland Trust is registered with the Biomass Suppliers List as sustainable.
